Danish roll


Obviously, Danish pastries are well-known. On our first stay in Herfølge we had these great rolls from the local bakery. They were buttermilk rolls, filled with very sweet stuffings. When leaving on our way back home, of course we had to get them again. They came in several varieties:
  • white glazing - honey-flavoured stuffing
  • green glazing - apple-flavoured stuffing
  • red glazing - strawberry-flavoured stuffing (marmelade)
Just thinking about it makes me drool.
